Arthur M. Newhouse, MA, LLP

Limited Licensed Psychologist

Arthur has a Bachelor of Divinity degree from Concordia Theological Seminary and a Master of Arts in Psychology from The University of Northern Colorado. He has been a Pastor and became interested in pursuing psychology after taking a Clinical Pastoral Education Internship at Fort Logan Mental Health Center in Denver.

Arthur converted to the practice of psychology in 1981, serving as Chaplain for Northwest Michigan College, and Group Therapy leader at Munson Hospital. He joined Great Lakes Community Mental Health in 1985 where he provided jail services and emergency service. He was a member of the Bay Area Psychiatric Clinic working with his brother and Ronald Nervig, MD for several years before joining The Maple Clinic. Arthur is the main leader in our Sex Offenders treatment program and is also available for individual therapy. He can be reached at (231) 946-9575.
